Call for abstracts

The MEMO 2022 technical program will be presented in person. Authors will be able to present their contributions at the Science North venue in Sudbury. If you have submitted an abstract but are unable to attend in-person, you may pre-record your presentation. You will then be asked to be present online for questions immediately following the presentation.

The call for abstracts is now open! Please submit between 300 to 500 words text – no graphic by July 1st, under one of the technical program themes.

Criteria

Text format between 300 to 500 words
Subject is current, innovative and relevant
Abstract is written based on results of research work/case study
Abstract is not considered a sales pitch. Please note that, while your company will obviously be featured by way of your presentation, we are committed to offering the audience technical presentations only. Please avoid the perception that your presentation might resemble a sales pitch.

Important dates

Abstract submission deadline July 1st, 2022
Notification of acceptance/rejection July 15, 2022
Notification confirming date and time of the presentation July 15, 2022
Presenter’s registration deadline August 19, 2022
Recording of presentation deadline August 26, 2022

Conferences rely on registration fees from all categories of attendees for financial sustainability.  This means that all conference participants, including members of the Organizing Committee, Session and Stream Chairs, as well as Presenters, must pay the registration fees set for their category.  Presenters must register on or before August 19, 2022, to guarantee your place in the program schedule. A preferential registration fee is set for presenters and session chair in recognition of their special contribution to the conference.
